A Dark & Moody Banff Elopement at a
Ghost Town in the Rockies
Daisy and Fredrik | Styled Elopement
A hauntingly beautiful styled elopement shoot in Banff, Alberta’s ghost town — Bankhead. The old church provided a great spooky setting for this dark romance styled shoot, and really added a special element to this Banff elopement. The couple, Fredrik and Daisy, were engaged to be married, and tied the knot officially a few days later — taking inspiration from our shoot!
During the daytime, I was worried about the conditions, as we didn’t want the church to be in direct sunlight. Thankfully, the clouds started to roll in as we all headed for Banff to begin setting up for the styled shoot. It is incredible how quickly time flies when you are having fun, and we had an absolute BLAST at this shoot.
On scene was myself, the models, Heather from Orange Trunk Vintage Rentals, and Staci from Little Daisy Florals. I am so thankful to all of the vendors who helped make this moody Dark Romance Banff Elopement a reality!
