Steph and Robbie are a sweet couple from Banff, Alberta who’s original wedding plans got squashed, so they decided to host a beautiful Banff elopement instead! Steph and Robbie met in Banff, and have since created a life together there in the bustling small mountain town.

The small group of guests gathered at one of the Tunnel Mountain lookout points under a beautiful semi-cloudy sky on a warm spring day for this beautiful Banff elopement. Their wedding guests were absolutely lovely, and with Patrick Smiley officiating the entire crew had plenty of laughs under the late afternoon sunshine as Mount Rundle towered in front. The ceremony was short and appropriate, and told tales of Robbie and Steph’s adventures throughout the Bow Valley and beyond.

As the guests departed, Steph and Robbie took time to be silly, intimate, and jovial while I snapped their portraits from afar. I am thankful that Steph’s parents looked on and helped with Steph’s few costume changes throughout the shoot, as the wind picked up and almost carried her veil away!

The love between these two is obvious, and I am so thankful to have been a part of this beautiful Banff elopement at the Tunnel Mountain lookout.
