It was a beautiful spring day in the Canadian Rockies when I met up with Lauren and Randy for their spring Lake Minnewanka elopement in Banff National Park. These two love birds said “I Do” Lakeside with their friends and children looking on, and the Canadian Rockies watching on. 

Although their initial destination wedding plans were unfortunately put on hold, Randy and Lauren were super excited to elope, and surprised Randy’s children with their lovely quaint spring Lake Minnewanka elopement. 

The couple are hoping to have a ceremony / destination wedding once the pandemic is over in beautiful Hawaii. 

These two cuties met through soccer, when Randy ran into Lauren and took her breath away… literally!! Randy ran smack-dab into Lauren and knocked the wind right out of her. 

Listening to them tell me the story of how they met – it was immediately obvious the love they have for one another. 

It was also wonderful to see how well Lauren got along with Randy’s children. The whole family showed a strong bond with a lot of love and admiration for one another. 

I am so glad I could be a part of this lovely day at the lakeshore of Lake Minnewanka – this is one spring elopement I won’t soon forget!
